Two Colours

This started life as an idea for a logo and became an enjoyable experiment in line weight,shape and colour.

You Win Some...

...You lose some. Just got an email from the folks at If you could and sadly my entry didn't get into the book. However I enjoyed creating it and so I will pop it up here for all and sundry. The title is "I would Learn About Mythology." I did classics for A-level at school, and although I wasn't too good at it I love myths and legends. I was especially pleased with Poisidens' beard and Medusas hair.... and yes that is me with the book, wearing a favourite jumper.

A Story (board)

Just been digging through the archives and I came across this. It's a storyboard for a 30 second cheap flights tv advert. Nothing came of it but it was good fun to work out how the illustrations would work. If I ever get a chance to learn flash I may animate it. Click the image above to see it bigger.
